RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY UPDATE - NOVEMBER 2020
The Bay Area median home price reached $1.34 million, on par with the previous month and a 14% increase from last year. Within the last twelve months, the median price increased in all counties throughout the region. The largest annual increases in the median price occurred in Contra Costa and Napa counties with 26.2% and 20.5%, respectively. The median price growth in Santa Cruz County was not far behind. The median price increased by between 10% and 15% in Alameda, Marin and Solano counties. In Santa Clara and Sonoma counties, the median price increased by just less than 10%. The smallest price gains occurred in San Francisco and San Mateo counties, where the median price increased in the 3 to 4% range.
